Usyk vs Dubois - July 19 on DAZN PPV - Buy Now

Time is quickly ticking down to Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois rematch at Wembley — this time with the undisputed heavyweight championship on the line. It all happens on Saturday, July 19, exclusively on DAZN PPV.

The fighters first met in 2023, with Usyk successfully defending the WBA, IBF, WBO, IBO, and  The Ring titles via ninth-round stoppage.

However, the bout was not without controversy as a punch from Dubois in the fifth round was deemed a low blow by the referee, who then allowed Usyk nearly four minutes to recover.

To this day, Dubois maintains that the punch was legal, adding spice to an already massive rematch.

Additionally, Dubois now comes with the IBF title that Usyk vacated last year, giving both men the opportunity to leave with more belts than they arrived with.

Meanwhile an exciting undercard is being built, currently with two title fights on the schedule, including Lawrence Okolie's latest bout at heavyweight.

DAZN News has everything you need to know ahead of Usyk vs. Dubois 2.

Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2 form and history

As noted, this will be the second time Usyk and Dubois will square off.

In the time since their bout in August 2023, Usyk has fought twice against Tyson Fury. The first fight happened in May 2024, with Usyk winning the undisputed title by split decision, although he did score a knockdown in the ninth round.

Usyk vs. Fury 2 took place seven months later, with the Ukrainian again defeating Fury by decision, although this time the judges were unanimous in favour of Usyk

Meanwhile, Dubois also made the most of his time since first fighting Usyk, as he has rung off three straight stoppage victories against Jarrell Miller, Filip Hrgovic and Anthony Joshua, respectively.

Dubois claimed the IBF interim title in his victory over Hrgovic and was upgraded to full champion prior to defeating Joshua in a stunning display of dominance at Wembley.

What has been said between Oleksandr Usyk and Daniel Dubois?

Unsurprisingly, given the controversy that surrounded their first bout, much of the build-up so far to this rematch has been focused on the fallout of a famous low blow.

Less so than the nature of the bout as a shot for Usyk to become a two-time undisputed champion, his camp have been forced to focus on a matter they consider history.

After the former repeated a stunt he played ahead of his rematch with Tyson Fury, the champion asked Dubois to sign a photo from their first encounter.

That prompted a furious response from trainer Don Charles, who claimed that Usyk played up the low blow and blasted his form of psychological mind games.

"It's disappointing me that you would stoop as low as bringing one of those photographs," he said. "You should be given an Oscar for that performance.

"You conned the referee. You conned us. You conned the boxing world."

Dubois meanwhile promised to respond in the ring, playing up his rich run of form which included that brutal victory last year over Anthony Joshua.

"I'm on fire now," he added. "I'm just pent up and ready to go. It's going to be a bloodbath. I'm going to put all the controversy and all that nonsense to rest.

"I'm a man of the future. [Usyk] will be doing a funny dance in the ring when I hit him."
