The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is heating up as we enter the knockout stages, with all games broadcast live and for free on DAZN .
Thirty-two teams from six confederations have been reduced to 16 following the group stages in the United States, the host of next's year's FIFA World Cup
With a prize pot of $1billion and to be crowned as the best club side on the planet right now, there is plenty of incentive for the remaining clubs, including PSG, Inter Miami, Manchester City, Chelsea and Flamengo.
Here is everything you need to know about the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup .
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup began on Saturday, June 14 when Inter Miami and Al Ahly played at a 0-0 draw at Hard Rock Stadium.
The final is set for Sunday, July 13 at MetLife Stadium.
That follows the patterns of international tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup, the European Championship and the Copa America as month-long celebrations of football joy.
In-between the first kick and the final whistle, over four weeks of action will see clubs battle to be crowned the first FIFA Club World Cup champion in the expanded era.
The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup features two distinct phases, with a round-robin group stage format dominating the first half of the tournament, followed by a traditional knockout draw.
Teams have been drawn into eight groups of four clubs each, with the top two progressing into the knockout stages with the Round of 16.
This is then followed by the Quarter-Finals, the Semi-Finals and the FIFA Club World Cup Final. Unlike the FIFA World Cup, there is no third-place play-off for a bronze-medal finish.
The tournament schedule is as follows:

The following sides are into the knockout stage of the FIFA Club World Cup.
Thirty-two teams from six confederations in total will compete at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup, representing some of the very best teams from all corners of the globe.
The mix of sides includes familiar international heavyweight names such as Real Madrid, Manchester City, Flamengo, Bayern Munich and River Plate among others.
Additionally, there are teams who are less recognisable to a global audience, such as Red Bull Salzburg, Mamelodi Sundowns, Ulsan HD and Auckland City too.
Qualification for the tournament was based on either winning a continental title - IE: UEFA Champions League or CONMEBOL Libertadores - in one of the four most-recent seasons or by having a high ranking of performance in the top-level continental tournament over the four-year period.
So, for a country like England, who were given two slots, Manchester City and Chelsea will represented them, rather than say Liverpool, because the former two clubs have won the Champions League more recently.

Qualification for the tournament was decided through victory in each confederation's respective major continental tournament, such as the UEFA Champions League.
Additional teams were awarded berths by their average performance over a four-year cycle to determine their inclusion too, resulting in some eye-catching inclusions.
Lastly, the final spot was reserved for a team from the host country, the United States, with Major League Soccer outfit Inter Miami the designated qualifier featured here.
You can find the teams set to feature at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup below, as well as discover how each qualified for the revamped and expanded tournament.
