The ELF kicked off with a bang last week, and Week 2 is shaping up to deliver more excitement. Some teams are looking to build on early momentum, while others are keen to rebound after a rough start.

With intriguing matchups ahead and storylines beginning to unfold, here is your DAZN News guide to what Week 2 has in store.

Battle of the undefeated teams

Nordic Storm (1-0) travel to Wroclaw Panthers (1-0)

The Panthers are looking to build on an impressive 55-12 win over the Fehervar Enthroners in their season opener. New quarterback Demarcus “DJ” Irons Jr., fresh from a five-touchdown performance in Week 1, will be hoping to keep the momentum going as his team squares off against a Nordic Storm team that produced a similarly impressive 56-12 victory against the Helvetic Mercenaries last week.

Wroclaw will hope reigning ELF Special Teams Player of the Year, Devan Burrell, can provide a spark much as he did in Week 1.

Storm running backs Glen Toonga and Anton Witmer both eclipsed 100 yards in their Week 1, ably supported by quarterback Jadrian Clark, who finished 20 of 30 passing for 280 yards and five touchdowns. Toonga left the contest with an injury and will be sorely missed if he is unable to suit up against the Panthers' imposing defense.

Munich Ravens (1-0) play host to Berlin Thunder (1-0)

The Ravens rallied late in their 20-7 win over Raiders Tirol, scoring 14 points in the fourth quarter. The matchup with Thunder will be challenging, but quarterback Russell Tabor demonstrated the ability to overcome adversity after throwing two interceptions in Week 1 to help set his team up for victory.

Berlin's offense dominated last week, helping them to a 63-14 win over the Cologne Centurions. Quarterback Jakeb Sullivan did most of the damage with 413 yards and seven passing touchdowns, and wide receiver Bryce Goggins could not be contained, finishing with seven catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns.

Can Sullivan produce at a similar level and remain the passing leader in the EFL? That question makes for an intriguing subplot in what should be an exciting game.
